NICE WHEELS 🚲
Transport yourself to the bicycle capital of the world 🇳🇱 … circa 1896. Before there were 🚴 swarms 🚴 of bikers 🚴 racing through Amsterdam’s narrow cobblestone 🪨 streets every day, babies in tow 😯, there was the Dutch 🧇 artist Johann Georg van Caspel’s Hinde-Rijwielen Fabriek Amsterdam, a picturesque ad for the shiny new 2-wheeler. Madame is the picture of elegance in her long dress, heels, and boater hat 👒, peddling away calmly. I just have one question: how??
This puzzle’s the perfect opportunity to slow your roll 🐌 and enjoy the process… of putting together a real beaut. 🧩
How is she doing it? 1. Hat pins. 2. Pedaling with the balls of her feet. 3. Stopping every few yards to untangle her skirt from the chain. Presumably.
This is a really fun image—I love the Art Nouveau style! Parts of the original image appear to have yellowed with age, so I thought it might have benefited from some digital retouching. This is also the first Blue Kazoo puzzle I’ve had where there was a slight problem with peeling pieces. But overall, I really enjoyed this puzzle!
