This was my first sustainable puzzle from Blue Kazoo and I am definitely a convert to BK puzzles now! The precision-cut pieces have a beautiful matte finish that’s soft to the touch, and a classy black backing. They are so much nicer to handle than regular puzzle pieces! After completing the Moon puzzle, I wanted a lush jungle scene for a change of pace, and this puzzle fit the bill perfectly. It was so much fun to assemble! I looked up some background on this painting, and it seems like Rousseau never left France and was choosing plant and animal species out of reference books—but with imaginative twists like lotuses that stand tall above the water, and a collection of monkey species from different continents. This image is even more fun knowing its unique background! Just one suggestion—if you close the box when it’s empty, it’s hard to get it back open again—maybe some thumb tabs on the lid would help. Thanks for another great puzzle Blue Kazoo!
Fun puzzle to do. Makes one think that these creatures are living the good life. Free and living off the land. As always with the Blue Kazoo puzzles they are great quality and the lives fit perfectly
